This is a book title:
島夷誌略

Needs more than mechanical translation. Would possibly need reflection of oceanic or mariner culture. This is a composition that gives some of the earliest details the life of a proto-Malay oceanic people called the Orange Laut, translated into Bahasa Malayu as “Ocean People”. They lived and travelled on their boats. They bound the spirits of the trees from which the hulls were hewn in the boat. The spirit of the land and water interwoven.
Would like ancient descriptions of nomadic sea people please. If you could assist, I will send you an oil painting.
Cheers
EDIT:
I dug a bit
I found this link. The hypertext layer makes the account more mysterious.
