Snowbound

Out in a snow storm in Pennsylvania
Brownsville Hospital before demolition
Structures downwind from Hospital burnt to the ground, either by arsonists or from heaps of asbestos strips drifting from the abandoned structures. Stuff coated a nearby basketball court. It got in my eyes and mouth and fingertips. My fingertips shredded, and I got sores in my mouth from it. I have photos of the stuff clinging to my clothing and basketball. I haven’t been back there since this summer.

There was a snowstorm last month that poured forth a steady hiss of falling snowflakes for a couple of days.

I made a shot and missed a shot. The star shape in the snow was purely accidental.
