It resembles a melting film projector. This was three sessions. The sketch, color, definition. Now I thread dandelions into the tall grass, brighten everything, as though light was coming through it from behind. The road will get a makeover. I will shift tones to show the central area left of the diagonal road is a forced perspective transformation.

a week in
Week and a half and I am nearly there.

Three more hours of mostly touch up and paint matching. Dense undergrowth of leaves, smooth gradients of the road to indicate elevation, some brightening of flowers, minimizing details of other roadways.
