Abandoned Hospital – Picture Series

This is an old hospital rotting in my town. Big areas of the brick face fall away from the building. Kids occasionally remove the plywood from a door or window, go in and tear stuff up. I see building all over rural Pennsylvania that use this yellow brick. Many of them are abandoned. There’s a church, two abandoned nursing homes (one across the street from the hospital, one on my street in my neighborhood) and this behemoth in my town. The church is still used, but everything else, like this hospital, is an asbestos-choked ruin.
