Duquesne Incline

Featuring an ancient 19th century funicular, originally powered up and down Coal Hill using steam engines.

A summer rain came through and drenched everything. A half hour later, the sun was out and the air was quite clear. Downtown Pittsburgh looks spectacular from the cabin on the rails.
