Green Fields of France

This is a song about young dead soldier from WWI

I had the chance to hear a version in a grand Gothic cathedral this week, at The Heinz Memorial Chapel in Pittsburgh, a duet sung with heart for a Brittsburgh event. People came together to share songs and stories of those connected to who fought in WWI, the “war to end all wars”, and will forever be haunted by this song, and how it foreshadowed WWII and every crazy war since then.

Remember the Fallen, who fought in the “War to End All Wars”.

This next one is sort of what it sounded like in the hall, with the voices carrying.
